For Parents

You are not too much. You are not overreacting. We're building this gentle library so you know what to watch for, and so your worries are honored.

When To Seek Help

Trust the quiet voice that says "something is different."

You know your body and your baby better than anyone. If something feels off — even if you can't name it — please call. There is no such thing as bothering your care team about your baby.

  • Any noticeable change in your baby's movement pattern
  • Bleeding, leaking fluid, or unusual cramping
  • Severe headache, vision changes, or sudden swelling
  • Blood pressure readings outside the range your team gave you
  • A feeling that "something is different" — even without symptoms

Decreased Movement

Your baby's movement is your conversation with them.

If your baby's pattern changes — slower, quieter, different — please call your provider the same day. Movement is one of the most important signals, and it is always worth checking.

Blood Pressure

What the numbers can quietly tell you.

Hypertension during pregnancy can develop quickly. We're building gentle guidance for understanding your readings, when to call, and what questions to ask if your team recommends watching closely.

Advocating Gently

You are allowed to ask, and ask again.

A second opinion is not rude. Asking for another look is not rude. Saying "I'm scared" is not rude. We'll share scripts and gentle phrases for the days when you need to be heard.

Questions to Ask

A small notebook of brave questions.

Lists of questions for appointments, ultrasounds, hospital visits, and follow-ups — written with the kind of language families have told us they wished they'd had.

After A Diagnosis

You do not have to face the next hour alone.

Resources for the days that follow a difficult ultrasound, an unexpected diagnosis, or a loss. Gentle, practical, and held with care.

“If something feels different, please call.”
